Brisbane in March ...

Is it really March already? While my life is busy it's not jam packed with activity! So what have I been doing for the past few months?

Work is no different from the last time I talked about it. Busy busy busy ... There is one bright spot, we're looking for a part-time Admin person - much needed too!

We have settled into our new home and enjoying it's amenity.

I love how the clothes line is so high up. I hope, on a windy day, the clothes aren't blown off! I came out today to find a sheet hanging by one peg, phew that I caught that in time. Who knows where that could have ended up.

I took two weeks off and headed to Hobart. The main reason was to get my house in order so I can sell it. The other reason, of course, was to spend time with my family. I am amazed at the emotions I felt while clearing out my stuff I left behind. I believe was/am in mourning? Twelve years of ownership and two weeks to say goodbye. I hope there's someone out there who pays a good price for a lovely little home in Lutana. CrowtherRichards are the agents and you can go here to check it out.

My favourite spot in the backyard. I often came out to check the weather!

My puppy, Abbie. Still going after being diagnosed with cancer on her back leg (can you see the lump?)

The Oyster Bay Pine has grown so much since I planted it. I'm happy it has survived.

The gum tree too has grown heaps.

I'm sorry I didn't catch up with more friends in Hobart. The lovely time I spent with my parents, in particular, will remain special.

Their garden is such work of love. It's such a joy to wander through it to see what has changed from the last time I looked. A lovely haven. I also spent time with my sister. She is a constant in my life and I love that we're such good friends (actually it's much more than that but how does one describe this relationship?)

It was lovely to catch up with the rest of my family. That is the ones still living there. Most of my nieces and nephews have moved interstate (Melbourne and Adelaide).

And now my two weeks are over and I'm saying goodbye.

Back in Brisbane, life goes on. We've just had Stephen's brother, Peter and his wife, Nasain stay for a few days. They are moving to Cairns from PNG, so we now have a place to stay up there, how cool.

Well that's about it for now. I hope you and yours are well and living life ...
